Eden Aeterna is a high fantasy TTRPG inspired by my favorite turn-based video games and TTRPGs.  FF Tactics, older Fire Emblems, XCOM, and more.  

For players:
The Prestige System

EA features a robust class system where you build a character from 3 separate classes known as 'Prestiges' from a class tree.  Each class has at least 10 distinct abilities and unique ways that they interact with the rest of the system.  With 39 classes distributed across 3 tiers, you will find a concept that calls to you.

The Job Point System
Every level nets Job Points.  These allow you to buy basically everything in the system.  Magic, combat arts, skill and weapon proficiencies, feats, the mysterious Arcana, and more.  Build your character from the ground up.

Custom Roleplaying System "Arcana"
Build a deck of powerful multi-use abilities known as 'Arcana', built around the major tarot.  These cards represent influence over one's self and others, granting unique and subtle capabilities that can gently turn the tides of a roleplaying scene.  Clash with others.  Carefully discern what kind of rival you are dealing with, analyze them to understand what kind of Arcana they might wield.  


For GMs:
Point Buy Creature Crafter
Build custom encounters in minutes with the point-buy creature crafter system.  No Challenge Ratings necessary.  As the system continues in production, creature 'paradigms' will be built; different bases to start from to reduce the work even further, allowing the GM to select a type of creature (such as controller, tank, bruiser, etc.) and then go from there.

Modular Systems
Eden is designed for not only the removal of systems that don't fit the GM's vision, but for easy homebrewing.  Spells are sensical and scale linearly.  Class powers rarely extend outside of their class.  So new spells, classes, abilities, etc- it's ready for GMs to put their own spin on the world.

Optional Systems and References
GMs have their work cut out for them.  In order to cut down that work, there are many optional systems so the GMs can do less meta work and focus on their creations and narration.  Eden has many optional systems and reference material to make the job easy.

That's just about it for Eden Aeterna!  The system is still in development and being tested by my local community.  But I recognize I need a wider audience and a more effective way of gathering feedback.  New perspectives and opinions.  So I'm reaching out to itch.io to share my creation with the you and improve it over time inspired by your feedback!
